A beautiful spring morning at the woods.
I had the absolute pleasure of joining Nile and Darling Classes in the woods this morning. There was some fantastic learning going in both basecamps, from using compass points to identify areas for reading maps to den building and exploring repeating patterns. Even though there weren't too many puddles the mud was pretty gloopy and a few of us lost our wellingtons on the way back to school. Luckily a lot of team work and some serious pulling helped to rescue our stranded friends. It reminded me of the story of the Enourmous Turnip!
