Have a vacancy for an Afterschool Club Assistant

Initially for 1 hour 40 minutes per week on a Friday, with the flexibility for additional hours dependent on need and numbers of children booked into the club.

Hours of work are between 3.50-5.30pm

PART-TIME TERM TIME ONLY

Salary NJC Grade B Scp 1 £9.00 per hour

Previous experience of supporting children’s learning and development would be an advantage.

A knowledge and understanding of first aid would be an advantage.

Experience of food handling would be an advantage/manual handling

No specific or formal qualifications are required, but the jobholder must have a caring and energetic approach to working with children, and the ability to relate well to them and motivate them.
