Winter is here but how do we know?

We went on a scavenger hunt to find evidence of Winter around us.

Here is what we found...

Tough, smooth evergreen leaves

  Rough, cracked bark

 Leaf skeleton

 Tickly fir needles

 Pine cone bigger than our thumb

 Smooth bark with patches of lichen
