Today Darling Class became Vet Inventors, helping animals with a plethora of ailments. The children had to decide what was wrong with their animal and then invent and make something that would help them. There was a bat who had damaged a wing falling out of a tree that was fixed by a motorised skateboard; a snake which needed skin replacement after brain surgery; a puppy given tummy support so that he couldn't bite his broken toe; a hurt rabbit needing a specialised medical feeder and a bird with a broken wing that was given a jet propelled backpack. Fantastic imagination and team work from all of the children.
